Our Mission

Anyone who was blessed enough to be a part of Susie’s life felt her love, strength, tenacity and courage. Susie was the center of her family and a loving teacher. Susie was known for her wisdom and ability to guide her family and friends through the beautiful and difficult times. With a strong sense of family values, Susie knew how to unite and create a powerful bond amongst those closest to her heart.

Her selflessness allowed her the amazing ability to put others first. Even while she endured her own crisis, Susie always worried about others’ well being. She fought her own 8-year cancer battle with dignity, strength and perseverance. Unfortunately, Susie lost her battle on September 1, 2011.

The family of Susie Barney asks for your support to inspire, encourage and help others defeat cancer and other illnesses. Our family hopes that through extensive research, sooner rather than later, the suffering of so many will be eliminated. The generosity we receive will help to ensure hope to patients and their families, as ALL proceeds collected will help fund various types of research and organizations.

The Susie Barney Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) recognized tax-deductible charity.
